Sarah A. Kiley, DC, CCSP, QME |

SARAH A. KILEY, DC, CCSP, QME, has a unique approach to Chiropractic care that specializes in soft tissue therapy and places less emphasis on traditional chiropractic manipulation. Dr. Kiley has been in private practice since graduating from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 1997. Her background in Sports Medicine includes being a Doctor for the Pro Beach Volleyball Tour for 6 years, the Gravity Games and the Pro-Surf Tour. Dr. Kiley's well-rounded credentials include being a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner, a Qualified Medical Examiner (a specialist in Worker's Compensation), and a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist. She also worked in the pain management field for four years at a leading chronic pain facility in the South Bay. During this time she has helped many patients reduce their pain and control their symptoms.
Since 2005, she has been involved with Triathlons not only professionally but also personally as a competitor. She is the "in house" Sports Chiropractor for Triathlon LAB's Training Camp.
Dr. Kiley's specialty called soft tissue therapy (myofascial release) is a form of manual muscle therapy that can help alleviate symptoms. This form of treatment addresses all of the muscles and connective tissues surrounding the injured area. This helps to reduce the pressure on the injured joints and to decrease pain. Almost every injury has a muscular component that could respond to this very unique form of therapy.
"I specialize in acute and chronic conditions, sports injuries, work related injuries, and post-operative rehabilitation. I am unlike most Chiropractors in the fact that I don't routinely do spinal manipulation on all my patients. I have found that the soft tissue aspect of every injury is very important and that it responds very well to my type of treatment."
